So what are the Symbols?

A symbol is a sign or word that indicates or representing an idea as well as object, or relation.

Symbols allow people to go beyond what is known or otherwise seen by making connections between very different concepts and experiences.

Numbers are symbols of numbers. Phonetic characters can be symbols for sounds. Personal names are symbols representing individuals.

The variable ‘x’ in a mathematical equation can symbolize the position of a particle in space.

Types of Symbols:

This is the common symbols that are already printed on our keyboard, but what for these signs or symbols are not included on the keyboard.

So don’t worry guys here, I’ll try to show you how you can do this trick.

Note: To insert some symbols you have to press keys in combination with (Shift + Symbol Keys)

So as an Indian our 1st queries will be like:

How to Type (₹). Indian Rupees Symbol?

I’m right or not. To get Indian rupees sign, do this process. This is Shortcut keys are used to type Indian Rupees in your text documents, Let get started.

Note: If you have the English (India) keyboard selected, use the key combination (CTRL + ALT + 4) to get the Indian Rupee symbol (₹).

Otherwise, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Control Panel.
  • Click on Clock, Language, and Region section.
  • Click on the ‘Change input methods’ option.

You will see English (United States) from the list of available keyboard languages.

  • Click on ‘Options’ at the right end of the English (United States) tab.
  • Click on the ‘Add input method’.
  • Select English / India from the list of displayed language methods.
  • Click on Add Button to add it.

You will be re-directed to the previous screen.

  • Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the page and close the Control Panel screen.

Press ‘Windows + Space’ in combination to choose the English (India) keyboard layout.

Once you select the English (India) keyboard language, you can type the Indian Rupee symbol (using) using the key combination CTRL + ALT + 4
